Witnessing to the Faith in an Increasingly Secular Culture

Holy Family Cathedral is hosting a discussion entitled Beyond the Reformation: Witnessing to the Faith in an Increasingly Secular Culture on October 25 at 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Jim Miller of First Presbyterian Church, Deron Spoo of First Baptist Church, and Monsignor Patrick Gaalaas of Saint Bernard’s Church will discuss the necessity of maintaining and witnessing to the Faith in a world that grows more secular every day.

Rev. Deron Spoo served as a pastor at a church in Texas and associate pastor in Alabama. He received his BA from Angelo State University and Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Jim Miller is a graduate of Wheaton College and Princeton Theological Seminary. He received his Ph.D. in New Testament studies from the University of Edinburgh. His dissertation on the Pastoral Letters of I and II Timothy and Titus was published by Cambridge University Press.
