Service of Light, Easter Vigil

Anyone who has attended the Easter Vigil will attest to the beauty of the service of light, the moment when the church is lit entirely by candles. It symbolizes the resurrection of Christ, the light of the world.

The Church of Saint Mary will offer Tenebrae on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:45 p.m.

It’s not a Mass. Rather, it’s a prayer service that includes a number of psalms.
