Nursery Ministry
Employment- The Church of Saint Mary is accepting applications for Childcare Providers needed to help care for children on a regular basis. The Nursery staff guides the children through play, faith activities, and prayer. You must be 16 years or older. Preschool Before School Care Teacher – Hours M-F 7:30-9:30
Description: It is the responsibility of all employees of the School of Saint Mary to carry out the mission of the school. There are some responsibilities unique to the Before School Care Teacher:
- Opens preschool classrooms each school day
- Keeps daily attendance of students enrolled in Before School Care
- Arranges for play experiences of students who attend Before School Care
- Supervises the students who attend Before School Care with other Before School Care teachers
- Prepares a snack and serves it to students enrolled in Before School Care
- Provides the Director with a grocery list as needed for Before School Care
- Cleans the kitchen area and Before School Care area before leaving for the day
Skills/Qualifications:
High School diploma, Physical Stamina; Organizational Skills, Knowledge and Experience in Early Childhood Development and Early Childhood Education is a plus.
