Most of us are so used to what happens at the end of each Lent during Holy Week that we don’t think twice about how strange some of the language is we use. Good Friday – kind of an odd way of describing the day Jesus suffered terribly and died the death of a criminal, don’t you think?
Nevertheless, that’s what we call it, Good Friday.
During our latest Youth Series called, “Good” Friday? we’ll take a second look at what makes it so good after all and what that means to us as a Church and personally.
Each of our Youth Series begins with fun Social Night, to which we encourage our youth to invite their friends, Catholic and non-Catholic alike. The Series then moves onto 1-3 Teaching Nights, a Prayer Night, and then concludes with an amazing night of Eucharistic Adoration!
Here are some great photos from previous Youth Nights for you to enjoy!
