Church Flooring Project: Carpet comes up

The first day of the Church Flooring Project is full of sounds: knives ripping up old carpet, wheelbarrow wheels creaking, crinkling plastic, and grinders removing old glue.

Workers put protective sheets of plastic over the altar, ambo, piano, and pipe organ to protect them from airborne dust as the carpet is removed.
